Darren Gallop started out in the industry as a touring musician, relentlessly travelling throughout North America. In 2000, he moved his focus into the studio, where he studied and practiced engineering and production. In 2005, Darren co-founded Company House Records. After a few years of releasing recordings and managing artists, Gallop's frustration with mundane repetitive tasks and complete disorganization sparked the birth of Marcato Digital Solutions. Over the last 3 years, Marcato has built a complete artist management and festival management platform that recently launched into market with notable early clients, such as Jones and Co. Artist Management, CMJ, Halifax Pop Explosion and Winnipeg Folk Festival.
