The Big Screen Plaza is proud and excited to host an event for CMJ’s highlighted non-profit Invisible Children.
The night will feature videos made by Invisible Children that have been used to inspire hundreds of thousands of people to use their talents to help stop a war in Central Africa where a rebel warlord is forcing children to fight as child soldiers. They will present The Musician Coalition, a group of artists uniting with their fans to build a system of life saving radio towers in the war affected region.
Representing The Musician Coalition are Brooklyn natives SPIRIT FAMILY REUNION and blog darlings HUNDRED VISIONS.
Additionally, LA based art collective DETHKILLS will be creating original limited edition prints and selling for donations.
This event is open to the public. Complimentary drinks will be available for first 50 CMJ badgeholders.
