As the music industry landscape changes, the college market's significance in breaking bands and brands is becoming increasingly vital. In the past few years, we've seen artists with no albums and no recording contract (but with solid local fan followings) explode through the utilization of online resources and nationwide campus tours. Capitalizing on that same success via similar marketing principles, brands are now beginning to target the college music scene more and more.
