Steven C. Beer is head of the entertainment department and shareholder in Greenberg Traurig's New York office. Mr. Beer represents clients in all aspects of motion picture financing, production and distribution, including motion picture producers, directors and writers. Additionally, Steven has served as counsel to numerous multi-platinum musical artists and has worked with high profile production companies and record labels. Mr. Beer entertainment background has included representation of Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, N'Sync and the Gin Blossoms. Mr. Beer has acted as producer, producer's representative and/or legal counsel for over forty film projects(on dozens of film projects), including: Death of a Dynasty, Empire, Crossroads, L.I.E, Black and White, Dorian Blues, Daughter From Denange, and Tumbleweeds.. Founder of the R&B FM, LLC, a film production company focusing on (specializing in) producing music-oriented films. Mr. Beer is a frequent featured lecturer and moderator at major international film festivals, markets and conferences. He serves on the Executive Board of the New York and National Independent Feature Project and is co-founder of the Center for the Protection of Athletes Rights (CPAR). In 1993, along with Laurence H. Rudolph, Mr. Beer established the entertainment and media law firm Rudolph and Beer, LLP which quickly became a leader in the entertainment industry and has offered critical counsel to rising stars in music, film and television.
